Rocco Tore His ACL and Meniscus!

I rescued Rocco in December 2021 after seeing a post about how he was tied up in somebody's backyard through the cold weather weeks in North Carolina. He was 7 years old when I got him and you could tell he just wanted somebody to love him. He stayed by my side wherever I went and would cry when he wasn't able to rest a paw or his butt on my feet. As the months went by, he grew in his confidence and his personality started to show. He became loving yet sassy in the funniest way. I couldn't help but notice that, at 7 years old, he was learning how to play like a dog again. His favorite activities include sunbathing, racing other dogs at the dog park, and visiting the fire station in Uptown for dog treats.

A few weeks ago, he was playing with another dog and tore his ACL, meniscus, and kneecap. He is scheduled to receive intensive surgery on January 30th with a 6-month recovery period. If you've ever met Rocco, you know he truly has an unbreakable spirit!

Any help would be greatly appreciated! The funds raised will pay for his surgery, post-surgery, x-rays, follow-up appointments and medications he will have to take over the next 6 months.
