I just found out that my dog Oaklee needs knee surgery. He's got a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament and luxating patella. From my understanding that means hes got a torn ligament and a dislocated knee cap. He hasn't used his back leg in a little over a month and the doctor says he's in a lot of pain which is probably why he's not very playful for 4 years old and there's no other options. So he's deaf and working with only 3 legs right now, I'm sure his quailty of life isn't too great and it makes me feel terrible. He's too much of a sweetheart not to be happy. The surgery costs anywhere from $1900 to $2400 to get him back to his old self. This might sound like a lot of money to put into a dog for some of you who aren't animal people but Oaklee is my family and I feel terrible that I don't have the funds to help him. Even $1 helps, anything to get him closer to being up and about. He deserves to be as happy as he makes me and everyone that's gotten the chance to meet him. Thanks guys.
