My name is Dave and I'm asking for help for my beloved dog, Bear (rottweiler/Collie cross)
Bear isn't just a pet—he's family. He's my constant companion, my best friend, and as his name suggests a big teddy bear. Seeing him in pain is absolutely heartbreaking.
Bear has been diagnosed with
Bilateral Cruciate Ligament damage in both of his back knees. One leg is already badly affected, and the other is beginning to fail as well. The Vets have told me that because of his large size he urgently needs surgery on both legs. Without it, his condition will continue to deteriorate, and there may come a time when he can no longer support his own weight or walk properly.
All funds raised will go directly towards the cost of the surgeries and Bears recovery which is estimated to be between €4000 and €5000. Approximately €2000 per Leg, x-rays, consultation fees and medication fees. Despite doing everything I can, this is more than I can afford on my own at this moment in time.
Bear is a complete softy. He deserves the chance to live without pain and to enjoy the simple things he loves—walks, playing, and being by my side.
I am a very proud person and hate asking for help especially in times like these when I know people are struggling to make ends meet. Any donation, no matter the amount, would be greatly appreciated. If you're unable to donate, sharing this page would mean just as much.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read Bear's story. Your kindness will help give Bear the chance to walk, run, and enjoy life again.
Thank you,
Dave & Bear ❤️
