My Disordered Eating
Donation protected
My Disordered Eating is a piece of art that will raise awareness with a vengeance. Our recovery stories will show hope, compassion and brutal lessons in self-love while we fight for our lives and fight for recovery from the throes of mental suffering.
The project will consist of collected imagery from participants, such as video diaries, social media feeds, cinéma-vérité and formal interview footage.
MDE is in production and needs your support. This project will make an impact by breaking stigmas associated with mental illness, addiction and eating disorders.
Donations are being raised in order to finish production of the film. For the last 10 years, Kaleigh has recorded her journey towards recovery. She suffers with eating disorder not otherwise specified (EDNOS), suicidal ideation and depression. Through art, yoga, Vipassana meditation and travel she has began to heal and live in recovery.
Your donation will fund equipment and production costs to film with others living in recovery. The more stories we can share, the more education and compassion we can cultivate for ourselves and for one another.
Your donation will fund the mission and understanding that we are all deserving of love and peace in mind and body. We are all the walking wounded.
