Disabled woman homeless and in crisis
Donation protected
Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who donated to the original campaign I created last year for my mom, and for those who bumped the post I made on Facebook regarding my Mom’s current well-being and livelihood shortly before Jesse’s 9th.
I hoped to have this together sooner, but there’s been situations pertaining to this that had to come first. My mom is officially homeless come December 22nd. 2 days from now. She still has no income, we’re still waiting on her disability claim to come through, as well as her housing.
Unfortunately after almost 3 years stable, she disorder relapsed in October, and the episode is still occurring. She has nowhere to live, and is currently refusing my home or any treatment. She currently has no other options.
She’s been homeless before over a decade ago, on the streets of Baltimore for 2 years. She’s older now and cannot endure this again, never mind that it is winter in Maryland, and that she’s more vulnerable than ever due to her current mental state.
For the sake of time, I’m using the same gofundme I created for her last year, but have updated the title, description, donation amount to try to meet the need.
PLEASE keep in mind anything you donate to gofundme is 100% tax deductible. Tax season is almost here. I wish I was able to get this out 3 weeks ago, but here we are. If you donate after the new year, please know gofundme keeps receipt of your donation, and emails you a copy. You can still get that money back, although it’ll be quite a bit longer.
All I want is to ensure my mom is safe, warm, fed, and out of trouble. All money donated goes directly to me, as I manage her finances because she can’t.
We were in the middle of finally getting me conservatorship/POA over her, and then this episode began.
She had a little bit to keep her going for about 6 months, but she gave it all to this piece of human garbage “multimillionaire” who was impersonating Scooter Braun.
If you have any family members, friends, coworkers/colleagues who are wealthy, or know anybody who donates to charity, it would mean a lot if you could share this with them. Thanks everyone, and happy holidays.
