My dear friend Iryna Gorb

Dear friends,

My name is Elvira and I've launched this GoFundMe for my exceptional friend, whose selflessness knows no bounds. Over the past two years, she's been dedicated to support Ukraine, putting her resources to both its people and the animals affected by the war. Her commitment is truly inspiring.

Her family home in Kharkiv was shelled and destroyed, so she’s been using nearly all her earnings to support her family, who found refuge in Europe. Imagine the weight of worrying about your family every day for almost two years; it's an immense burden that I wish no one gets to experience.

Last month, Iryna found herself in the emergency room. While she's on the path to recovery, the reality of mounting medical bills, totaling a daunting $8,000, has set in. I firmly believe that the kindness she's shown will come back to her.
