Hello
Thank you for the support so far.
This trip isn't a 'holiday', it's an educational trip and it involves working in the community doing all sorts of jobs out there, it will involve proper graft.
So if anyone wants to help with her fundraiser, please share, and donate if you wish
My Daughter Jessica is participating in a trip to Borneo.
This is a world challenge trip, and part of the challenge is raising money (and earning) to contribute towards this high cost, now, she is asking nicely for donations upto £900, but we all know that this is just a snippet of the cost, but if you could spare a few pennies, she would be eternally grateful.
Jessica is an active, competitive and confident girl. Jess is well liked by her peers and her teachers, she works hard in class and is a big part of the sports community in school and the football community outside of school.
Jessica is extremely keen to go to Asia to muck in and learn, and she deserves it
We are giving what we can, and Jess is already earning and paying her bit, she has now started her fundraising as part of the experience and coming up with more ideas of how to raise money.
Jessica is going to Asia for 2 weeks to take part in a world challenge. This is a fantastic way to learn independence, self confidence, learn about culture and different ways of life. This trip is very expensive and part of the challenge is to earn money, and fundraise to help towards the costs.
A world Challenge trip benefits a child by fostering crucial life skills like teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and confidence, while also enhancing their global awareness and understanding of different cultures. These enriching, real-world experiences can complement school learning, inspire students to become global citizens, and ultimately improve future employment prospects.
