Hello, many of you know me from twitter as Panda or Rachel. I have stayed quiet about this for as long as I can but after trying and failing to get assistance from public service agencies that are supposed to be in place to help families with situations like this; I have been unable to get the help I need for my daughter’s ongoing medical needs. I have been told that due to the circumstances that she has been through she needs 24 hour care and I unfortunately do not have anyone who can reliably help me so that I can continue working.

We are waiting a determination from Disability to see if she will qualify for their benefits or not but that might be a month or two away. If I had any other options I would not be asking for assistance.

Anything helps, $1 - any amount, a kind word or a share. The last year has been incredibly difficult for my daughter and my family.
