My daughters battle with leukemia.

On 6/1/22 I heard the words no mother ever wants to hear. Your child has cancer to be more specific AML leukemia. I don’t really even know where to begin. Kasia is 23 years old, she has 2 beautiful babies Joaquin who is almost 2 and Ramona is 5 months old. Everything happened so fast you barely have time to process what is going on, she had went from going to the doctor that Monday and being told you have a bladder infection here’s some antibiotics to Wednesday you need to go into the ER immediately for more blood work, to you have cancer, we’re gonna fly you up to Portland, and no you cannot take your babies with you and you won’t be able to see them. We need help, I don’t like asking for help but we genuinely need help. We have the grand babies while my daughter is starting her chemotherapy, to get their supplies needed, and to help with gas back and forth from Medford to Portland. To the hospital, and anywhere else we are needed. I am on a tight budget as it is I am the only one who is working to support a family of 8. And I don’t know if I will be able to continue to work and also be a support for my daughter plus have the babies. I am doing the best I can I want my daughter to worry about getting healthy and beating this, I don’t want her to worry about me and struggling to make ends meet. All funds will go to taking care of the babies, and making sure I am able to get to Portland and help support my daughter while she goes through chemotherapy.
