- My daughter recently has been given some pretty bad news. She was diagnosed with a blood cancer called multiple myeloma. It has attacked her spine, which requires surgery to fix her vertebrae, and she is in acute kidney failure as well. She’s been in the hospital for the past 21 days getting treatment. We desperately could use some help with deductible and out-of-pocket expenses for the new year. This type of blood cancer is treatable, but not curable, so she has a very long road ahead of her.
