My Daughter Needs Your Support to Recover

Hello, I’m asking for prayers and donations for my 22 year old babygirl. She was in a boating accident on Sunday. She and my 4-year-old grandson were riding in the front seat of the boat with three others when the driver veered off into an incoming tree at high speeds. She tried to duck down with her arms around her son to avoid the tree, and once the collision was made, they were flung into the front of the boat. The force of this fractured her lower back in 8 different places. Not only did that happen, but the tree also fell on her and cracked two of her ribs after the fact.

They were riding on St. John’s river and she had to be bay flighted to Daytona hospital due to the fact she was not able to feel her legs or wiggle her toes.

Her injuries are as follows:

Spinal fractures

T7, 8, 9, & 10 - unstable

L1, 2, 3, & 4 - unstable

Right side ribs 11 & 12 broken

Sliced liver and spleen

Mediastinum hematoma (blood clot behind her sternum)

By the grace of God, my grandson wasn’t harmed and is doing well. The three other passengers had minor injuries.

She is in a lot of pain. She is asking as well for prayers for her upcoming surgery today. It is 6 hours long and about 11 inches incision. I know that Jesus has his hands on my daughter and the surgeons that will be working on her tomorrow.

Please keep us in prayer, but it would also be helpful to have a little bit of money to help support her as she goes through this time. As of now, she is awaiting surgery and has not been able to move her back, or walk in any way. This is going to be a hard journey of pain and physical therapy, and she will not be able to work. So just keep us in your thoughts. Anything is appreciated.
