Who this will help

I am asking for help for my daughter. She is 34, has two young children and is battling aggressive Triple Negative Breast cancer. Her husband is doing the best he can but his income cannot support the household alone. As you may or may not know, she is an extremely hard worker and was working 2 jobs the last few years.   

She was diagnosed at the end of August 2023 and spent her 34th birthday at chemotherapy. She has now successfully completed  4 months (12 rounds) of aggressive Chemotherapy treatments with the first 3 chemo drugs. Now, on her second round of 3 different Chemo treatment drugs, one of which is called “Red Devil” has made her so sick that she is now unable to keep her FT job and is out on unpaid leave.  She has been able to continue on a limited basis with her job as a catering coordinator during this very difficult time and  is so greatful for all their support  but her main source of income as a healthcare recruiter for her family is now completely gone.

Once the Chemo is done, she needs to have a double mastectomy. Her oncologist and surgeon said she should not work Full time for at least 30 days after the surgery and really wants her to focus on heeling and recovering.

The stress of having little income is taking its toll on the family and not helping her focus on fighting and heeling at all. She is already staring at $150,000+ in medical bills since the after market insurance won’t cover so many things. The reconstructive surgeon wants 30% down to do the surgery. Anything we can raise and send them would be greatly appreciated. If you can’t donate please send prayers as that is equally as important and appreciated!!! She just wants to get well and get back to her boys, work and back to some sort of “normal”.

She has never asked for help and refused for quite some time to allow any of us close to her to ask for help on her behalf, but Cancer is a strong and ugly disease and unfortunately it has taken its toll on her and our family.

The impact of your support

Any money raised will help pay the mortgage and help to keep the house running. We have a food train set up also. She has worked her entire life. She would never ask for help. She certainly did not ask for cancer.
