My Dad's unexpected medical emergency bills

Hello everyone. A few weeks ago, my dad developed a seizure disorder that required immediate emergency medical attention. He was taken from his home in an ambulance and was admitted to the local hospital for examination, monitoring and treatment.

Unfortunately, his medical insurance left him with a pretty substantial bill that he and my Step-mother are responsible for.

The problem is, he is currently unable to work or drive, and this has become a conundrum.

I am making this GoFundMe in hopes that this will help lessen the burden, and will help my Dad get through the next few months while he is recovering.
