In a heartbreaking turn of events, Ahmed (aged 50yrs), a devoted father of four, made a bold decision to purchase an apartment in Gaza on June 5, 2023 for his family's future, only to see it turned to rubble in the devastating war in Gaza, Palestine. The joy and hope he felt in the moment is now taking on a hefty debt for the sake of his loved ones, and now fades into despair as he faces the harsh reality of his shattered dreams.

As his 4 children were forced to flee to safety in Canada, Ahmed is left grappling with the weight of his financial burden and the emotional toll of witnessing his apartment turned to ash. The once-promising new home he had secured for his family is now a stark reminder of the turmoil and destruction that has consumed Gaza.

All donations are calculated as follows: 

• Ahmed bought the apartment for $50,000 US dollars — transferred to $70,000 CAD
•  This will help him financially recover to help his 4 children 
• Half of each donation given will be to help the people currently suffering in Gaza‼️
