Hello, my name is Kristen. Two years ago, my Dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. The doctor said he had 6 to 10 years to live. We were devastated at the time. My daughter (His grandaughter) was 2 years old, but we accepted the doctor's news. Then last September, all (8 of us) moved in together from California to Tulsa, Oklahoma. He saw a new doctor. Dr Israel ordered a biopsy and gave us the good news that he does not have prostate cancer. The bad news is that your colonoscopy, MRI, PET scan and CT scan show you have colorectal cancer, which has spread to his liver, lymphnodes, as well as his lungs (small cell). It is stage 4. Without Chemotherapy he has 4-6 months and with Chemo, a year or more if it goes into remission. He started Chemo March 22nd and is feeling better. He's had 6 treatments now and the copays for the tests and treatments are rising.

He does not want to leave my mom any sooner than he has to (They have been married for 35 years) or in debt over his medical bills if the chemo doesn't work. My dad and mom have worked their whole lives, raised four kids and ran a buisnees. He would never ask for any himself. So we're making this go fund me in hopes we wont have to say goodbye any earlier than we have to.

Since moving in together, life has been great. My daughters, Allison and Alaina, love their Grandpa very much. We hope with treatment, grandpa will be there to see them grow up. If anyone can help with a donation, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
