Hi my name is Jackie Cottrell, I just recently found out my dad Jeff Cottrell was diagnosed with cancer. It initially started with a lump on his neck that continued to grow, then he started pain in the neck and a sore on his tounge with no taste and loss of appetite. We then went to the Dr. And they confirmed the cancer and said it is in his lungs and could be more places. The Dr said that removing it is not an option and he needs to start chemo and radiation! The issues we are having is medical costs, co/pays, so many more tests have to done, and treatment! He has health insurance, but it only pays a few hundred a month! He is retired and on disability and only makes a certain amount every month. With his bills, and living costs,he does not have much left over after. He was refured to a few DR offices already that turned him down because the insurance , or to high of co/pay. My dad was such a hard worker his whole life, and should qualify for more but does not. My dad is such a good man and father, he has always been there for me and others. I want to help, and I am but money is the issue. If you feel like helping my dad fight cancer it would be a blessing.
