Hello Folks... a photo from my recent Cardiac Pulmonary Testing with my pulmonary nurse Johnette, who was so calming! Just one of the many tests that I have to find the resources to pay for. I'll find out on the 30th what the results show. It was hard pedaling on the bike while strapped up to breathing machines and an EKG, but with great coaching and concern from my nurse I made it through this test. Thanks for your prayers!

Hello Everyone... what an incredible first week to my journey. I want to thank all of you who have contacted me personally and thank you for all your kind thoughts and all of your prayers. It's amazing how having people tell you they care can put a pep in your step and I truly appreciate it!
Well I have a few appointments today... one at my pulmonary specialist and the other with my cardiologist. So your donations will come in very handy in paying those $55 copayments and any out of pocket expenses incurred.
BTW... I started playing my guitar again to keep me more centered and also as a stress reliever. Please keep sharing my story on this long journey and know that every penny helps and is so appreciated.

Hi... I'm Wayne McMullen. My daughters Lily and Michelle are the centre of my world, and Lily is a wonderfully sensitive kid. It was hard to tell her about all this, but she understood and told me this would be a good idea to try to pay for all the expenses pre and post surgery. My other other daughter Michelle, 30 years old, has Down syndrome and lives with her Mother in NJ. I am not sure if she understands how serious this is, but she was a gift to me from God and I love her with all my heart. I also have to thank my ex-wife Kim who is helping me through this with her friendship. It's not often a couple divorces and finds they are friends and I am blessed to still have her in my life. I am lucky to have great friends both sides of the Atlantic who will all be pulling for me and praying that my procedures go well… I am grateful every day for the love I am shown by all I know!
So I have some big reasons to get this life saving heart transplant surgery. I have a wonderful cardiologist who has been looking after me for years and he is setting me up with an appointment to see a surgeon. He says I will get the surgery hopefully in 2024. Early days yet but as an average heart transplant costs $1.4 million dollars and I have no idea yet how much my insurance will cover, I will still have to meet out of pocket expenses that I am sure will be crazy! So friends, family and loved ones, I am asking for your help on behalf of myself, Lily, Michelle, and Kim. I appreciate any donations and please keep me in your prayers.
I really appreciate any help you can provide and thank you in advance for helping me with this second chance at life!
God bless all of you for your kindness!

Hi, my name is Lily, I'm 12 years old, and my Dad is the best Dad in the world. He isn't perfect, but he takes care of me, listens to me, helps me with my school work, makes me laugh and most of all makes me feel like I am the most important person in the world.

The other night, he said he wanted to talk to me. This chat was different though. He told me he was sick and that he was going to need a heart transplant.
I am really worried because I need him! He likes to joke around and most of his jokes aren't that funny, but I laugh or groan at them anyway because he is my Dad and I love him. He takes me to watch soccer matches and we are both big West Ham United fans. We have so much fun singing and cheering together and he is loved by so many and he is always so happy and positive.
I have never seen him look so serious and sad when he told me, and I don't want him to die. There are so many things I still want to do with him and places I want to go with him! I want to go on vacations with him, I want to visit England and Scotland with him and meet my relatives there, I want to go to my first concert with him, I want to get married some day and have him give me away. My Dad means everything to me and my family!
Dad said that he is worried how he is going to pay for everything. Not just the medical stuff, but mostly how he is going to pay rent and bills! He said he is only just starting the process and will meet with a surgeon who will tell him more about it. The recovery time is up 6 months after the surgery, so he is worried. I know he is going to need lots of help so I thought I could start this.
I am asking you from the bottom of my heart... please help my Dad get his heart transplant. If you could donate just a little we can get him ready for all that he is going to go through. We are all worried about the surgery, but I want him to concentrate on getting well, not on bills.
Me and my half-sister Michelle love our Dad so much and want him to be our Dad for many more years... he is a real good guy and the best Dad in the world. Please help us!
