Jeffrey Hohl passed away late October 22,2023. His injuries were to much for him. He was in the military and will have some benefits, we still have to pay out of pocket for some stuff. Please help, even if it's just a few dollars or sharing this fundraiser. Any help at all will be appreciated. Thank you so much.

Hi everyone, my name is Serenity and I'm 15. I need help for my dad and for my mom.

My dad Jeff was in a terrible motorcycle accident on Thursday morning, September 28th in Las Vegas. He is in critical condition and I need to see him. My mom can drive me from Montana, but we need money for gas and a rental car because the van won't make a long trip like this. My dad is a retired Army Veteran. Thank you for helping me out. This is very hard to type. My dad has a serious brain injury and an injury to his brain stem. Both of with cannot be repaired through surgery. He has an extremely low chance of coming out of this. If he miraculously does, he will be in a nursing home the rest of his life

Along with those already mentioned injuries, he has 2 broken arms, a broken ankle, broken jaw, a few broken ribs, multiple facial fractures, his right eye does not respond, because of the brain injury. I'm sure I'm missing some stuff, he is a absolute mess.

We are working in staying down here the rest of the week. He is having surgery again on Thursday. So any funds thay we can get to help my mom out would be amazing. She doesn't get paid time off, so we're missing out on money for bills.

Latest update on Jeff:

He had surgery last night. They decided against putting screws in his ankle at this time. It was still too swollen. But the wrist surgery went well. He goes in today at 3pm to have his jaw wired shut. I will call in the morning to find out how that went. Just reminding ever, that he does have a DNR in place, just in case his heart stops at any time.

He is awake though! Not fully and might never be fully. But he will squeeze your hand if you say too. He was also able to track his nurse around the room, with his ears, not his eyes. Last night Serenity said something to him and HE LOOKED AT HER, then he looked at his brother and back at her. His left eye won't open all the way, but it will a little bit. His right eye is still not responding.

Jeff was accepted into a long term care facility. But we are trying to switch it to a different one. We thought he had an infection, but he does not thankfully. He is going to get his right eye checked out, they think he will most likely lose that eye. I will know more tomorrow on that. That's all I have for now!

Eye surgeon says Jeff does not have to have the eye removed. He will hopefully be transferred to the long term care facility tonight or tomorrow!
