Hello, my name is Yesenia, I am 23 years old and I am reaching out for help.
I am a mother of a 17 month old baby boy and I am the primary caretaker of my 17 year old sister and I’m hoping to bring along with me my other two siblings (15 and 16) so they can have a better life. 

We are a family of 8, 6 siblings, father and mother. (Without including grandchildren) which 4 of us live currently in Santa Cruz CA. 

Here’s a little bit of our story.
My father’s  name is Alejandro, he is 51 years old and lives in Tijuana BC. With my mother, and two of my younger siblings. the reason why I’ve started a GoFundMe is because my Father’s body shop was destroyed, and on top of that he is in a really critical condition, he suffers from diabetes and due to the lack of medicine his immune system is really weak therefore he started experiencing a lot of pain in his stomach which ended up being something worse than anyone could imagine, his stomach isn’t producing enough gut bacteria which has caused a serious infection and now he needs a surgery, and as you’ve probably heard, in order to get ANY medical treatment in Mexico you need money, otherwise you will be left to die at home. My father is a hardworking man, he has his own body shop in Mexico and he’s the head of the household which means he’s the main source of income. he is the most genuine guy anyone could meet. My dad loves to sing and LOVES his two dogs and one cat. 

Two days ago 4 guys went to my Father’s body shop to destroy the cars my dad had been working on. My parents caught them on video, took it to the police and of course... Mexico... The police didn’t do anything. It is so heartbreaking to have to listen to my Mother and Father crying because they don’t know how they’re gonna resolve this huge problem, know that my Father needs money for his medication but now he has to pay all the damage to his clients.

My two siblings and I have been trying to help my parents with money so my Father doesn’t feel the need to work as hard as he used to due to his health complications And to pay off his medical treatment , but we are currently unemployed due to COVID-19, and our new lockdown, therefore we can’t send them the money that they NEED.
