My dad martin 80yrs and in desperate need of a hernia op

Hello, my name is david and this is my dad martin recently widowed after 60yrs of marriage to my mum penny whom for the last year of her life we both cared for until her passing on nye2023..After a very sad time rebuilding life without mum my dad is now thinking of getting more occupied with activities such as walking and gardening,sadly he cannot pursue these activities due to a very painful hernia and because of ridiculous hospital waiting times and being bottom of the priority list thought maybe can get the operation done privately,unfortunately i cannot afford the op as i had to give up work for a year to care for my mum and spent all my savings and my dads pension only just pays his living...Martin spent all his working life as a northsea fisherman and 27yrs voluntary long service as a coxswain in the royal national lifeboat institution which over that time received medals of bravery for saving many live whilst risking his own.

My dad needs to spent his twighlight years doing what makes his life happy again...life without his wife is difficult but getting active and doing the garden will help to put a bit more brightness in each day..

Please if anyone or some good folks can help me raise these funds for my dads operation then it would be like a dream come true especially after the past year or so dealing with dear old mum(Penny)r.i.p
