Hi my name is Suzy and I am fundraising for my dad to get hearing aids. My dad recently went to get his hearing check and to no surprise his hearing loss has deteriorated to the point that socially he cannot interact with the family and outsiders.

Life has a way of throwing unexpected challenges our way, and right now, my dad is facing one that's quietly isolating him from the world. It's getting harder for him to enjoy the simple things we often take for granted, a bird's song, a grandchild's laugh, or even a simple conversation. Hearing aids could change everything for him, bringing back the sounds of life and reconnecting him to the people he loves. Unfortunately, they're quite expensive, and that's why I'm reaching out to you. Any amount you can contribute will make a huge difference in restoring not just his hearing, but his connection to the world.

With my mom recently diagnosed with dementia and my dad struggling with health issues that affect his mobility and breathing, my heart aches watching them both face these challenges. I want to give my dad the gift of better hearing-not only so he can take care of himself, but also so he can continue caring for my mom with the love and strength he's always shown.

The aids recommended to him by this company (Hearing Life) are designated OT1 thru OT4. Of the four, OT4 (the lowest echelon) would not be appropriate as its programming would not improve his level of hearing loss. OT3 is recommended as entry level but OT2 would add more adjustment capability over OT3.

The cost of these items is stifling: OT3 is 5,571.00 OT2 is 6,291.00
