My Dad, Friend & Hero: Edward Thomas Chadwick Sr.

This fundraiser is dedicated to my dad, Edward Thomas Chadwick Sr. who physically left us on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023, but his soul is with the Lord. Though it saddens us we are thankful for the 87 years he spent on Earth. He was a father of 5, husband to my mom for 58 years, grandfather of 12 grandkids, minister, a man of GOD, Army veteran and lover of Blue Bell Buttered Pecan Ice Cream. The family would ask that you continue to pray for us as we mourn our loss and praise heaven's gain. To all of you who know my dad, there wasn't a topic that he wasn't uncomfortable talking about. He did claim the nickname, "Chit Chat" for a reason. He left a lasting impression either at the pulpit, Texas College (He was a very PROUD alum) or at the domino table where he'd play until he beats you but won't give you a rematch because he always wanted to leave as a champion. He certainly left as a champion. He was our MVP and the greatest dad of all time.

As you know, funerals are very pricey. Many factors tie into the execution of a proper farewell for a family member. That said, we ask that consider this as you read this message. 100 percent of your donation goes towards his farewell. If it's 10 cents thank you. If it's $10, god bless you. Regardless of what you're considering donating, the family thanks you in advance. Our dad taught us many things; one being, “You have not because you ask not” in James 4:2. We ask that God pours into your hearts as you consider helping with funeral costs etc. It takes a humbling spirit to genuinely pray, help and/or ask for a shoulder to lean on. We humbly thank you for any donation and may God continue to guide you in the direction he has for your life.
