My dad collapsed. The Eguino family needs help.

Hi, my name is Patricia Eguino. Last week, I received a call that my 80-year old father was found collapsed on a street corner. Unfortunately, my family lives in Bolivia, and I reside in D.C., so I was unable to be of much help. He suffered numerous bruises and neurologists did multiple exams on him, as he appeared confused, disoriented, and complained about terrible back pain. My dad's memory has also been failing him. Due to this, the medical bills have piled up and my family doesn't have much money.
It pains me to say it, but I can't pay my father's medical bills on my own. As some of you may or may not know, I have been facing eviction due to being laid off last year. I had trouble getting on unemployment, and it took me three months to find a new job. Thankfully, I was able to find a new job but I'm currently still embroiled in a legal battle...and attorney fees aren't cheap. All of this mess has left me unable to help pay for my father's medical bills.
My father means absolutely everything to me. Donations will go to help pay for my father's hospital stay, his medications, and his medical exams, but I'm also hoping to get him a walker, hearing aids, and a caregiver. He has become progressively weaker and we're still not sure why he collapsed while walking outside.
I will appreciate from the bottom of my heart every donation made. 2023 has been a very difficult year for me and my family, and the decision to share incredibly personal information to the world and rely on others for help wasn't an easy decision to make. But I can't stress enough how much I love and care about my father. I want to give him the best medical care available in La Paz.
