My father Oscar Scarpati had a terrible accident with his mule on February 4th of this year. He suffered a spinal cord injury and is now bedridden, and his recovery is very slow. We believe the worst has already passed, but doctors have warned us that he will need at least 12 to 18 months of rehabilitation.
