hi there! my name is sierra and i am starting a go fund me for my father. he had a long battle with cancer. he was diagnosed stage 3b colorectal cancer december of 2022. he went though chemo, radiation and surgery. thought he was cancer free but then follow up scans revealed it spread to liver and lungs now setting him at stage 4. doctors gave him 2- 2 1/2 years to live. he did 3 week alternative treatment at the karlfeldt center in boise idaho and scans after that showed more growth. having 2 years left to live turned into 6 months then turned into 2 months and finally 2 weeks. his body started shutting down very fast. we were expecting an extra week with him but my father passed away peacefully on sunday, october 20th. he is now resting in heaven with his lost loved ones and God is with him with all that being said, finances are going to be SUPER hard and money is going to be very tight. our family is a family of 8 plus 2 grand babies. my fathers youngest (my sister) is only 14 years old. its tough knowing hes not going to see her graduate high school or see us get married and have children. my mother is doing everything she can to keep our family going. she is so strong and is capable of anything but she just lost the love of her life and will be needing all the help she can get…financially and emotionally. times are very tough right now.
