I am Jenne, and yesterday as I arrived in CT with my family to take my father out for his 79th birthday dinner, his house tragically went up in flames. My father lives with my brother Sean, and luckily neither were harmed. They lost everything, including their two cats. They only have the clothes on their backs. I am trying to raise funds to help get them through the coming days as they face rebuilding after this tragic event. My dad loved where he lived, and would walk along the beach everyday (5 miles every day!), always so grateful for the beautiful view and breeze. My family had lived here for over 20 years until sadly my mom passed away from Covid in 2020. My dad has been taking care of my younger brother, who has mental health challenges and is currently unemployed. It’s all a very difficult and overwhelming situation and I am hoping to help take a little burden off of my dad and brother at this challenging time.
