Help with Carolina’s pancreatic cancer expenses

Dear family and friends,

My name is Sylvie Audigier Putnam and I am writing to you today to ask for your help with my cousin’s medical bills incurred as a result of her pancreatic cancer.

My cousin Carolina is a 41 year old dynamo and is one of the kindest, most brilliant and most beautiful souls I know. She is the loving mother to two amazing children, Leila (11) and Oliver (8). She is the devoted wife of Daniel and the sister of Monica. My brilliant cousin has a Ph.D in aerospace engineering and worked as an aerospace engineer at NASA until her pancreatic cancer no longer allowed her to work.

My cousin Carolina fought so bravely against this deadly cancer over the past two plus years, going through chemo, radiation and any experimental treatment she could find. Sadly, her body is now full of cancerous tumors and she is now considering hospice care as one of her remaining options.

Our sadness is overwhelming and is compounded by the fact that her husband and children will be saddled with enormous medical bills.

I am reaching out to you today to ask you to contribute whatever amount feels comfortable to you, even if it’s a small amount - every bit counts - to help my cousin’s family pay for her medical bills.

Dear friends,

I’m sorry that for like the past 3 months I haven’t been communicating much. It’s difficult for me to see all of my friends sad about what is happening to me and I am honestly just very tired of this. If you’re local I’m sure I’ll see you soon. I don’t expect myself to travel anywhere but we may or may not pursue some treatments in Virginia depending on how my hospital stay goes.

Daniel can’t work right now, which is hard financially for us, obviously. Even after I’m dead, he would want to take time off to help the kids through the trauma before he goes back into a normal work routine. So I don’t want to ask for everybody to give $20 or some amount. But if you would really like to help, I think food certificates (door dash, etc) or a small amount to this gofundme page would be really helpful.

I really appreciate your support and phone calls this whole time, I’m just sorry that I can’t keep up with them all.
