Update#3
Sorry it’s been a while since I posted an update. We went to Vegas to visit with my cousin Vinny. He is in a lot of pain and very weak, but was really trying to hold it together for us.
While we were there, he received many calls from both the Cancer Social Worker in Vegas and the Huntsman Cancer Center Social Worker in Utah. It looks like he will be going to Utah July 1st (things change constantly) for about 9 days for testing and consulting for his upcoming Stem Cell Transplant.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers. I brought Vinny the funds collected so far and he was absolutely overwhelmed and in tears. He thanks you all so much for your generosity and cannot believe how many of you who donated do not even know him. Thank you Thank you Thank you
More to come!

Update#2
Thank you again to everyone for prayers and donations. It is all very much appreciated.
Vinny is still undergoing treatment and is actually having chemo today. I asked him how he’s doing today and he said “I’m doing ok, ya know cancerland. Sitting in the chair. The typical pains and getting a bit of a headache. I dunno, just going along today. I hate these days ya know”.
As you can see he is trying to keep his head up and stay positive thru all this. He should be finding out soon as to when he goes to Utah for Stem Cell or Bone Marrow transplant.
If you could please share this fundraiser on your page it would be so appreciated. No contribution is too small, even $1. as it all adds up.
Thank you and love you!
My dear cousin Vinny was diagnosed about a year ago with Non-Hodgkin’s Follicular Lymphoma, a non curable cancer. Although it is not curable, it can be put in to remission. When he finished his Chemo he was about 90% clear, but they could not get him in to remission. Well now he has been diagnosed with yet another cancer, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Vinny must now fight off 2 cancers (which is very rare) at the same time.
Vinny has a wife and 3 children, 2 of which still live at home. They are all struggling through this as well, I understand fully what they are going thru as I experienced a similar situation when my kids were young. Thankfully my husband survived. It’s a tough battle on his entire family. Not having to worry as much about money can really help at a time like this.
Vinny started his Chemo on Tuesday May 4th, 2021. The treatment he is now receiving is much stronger than before. In the upcoming months he will need to travel from Nevada to Utah for 3 months of inpatient treatment. Due to Covid, all facilities available for free stay have been closed. An apartment will run about $1300.00 per month plus expenses for food, travel etc. Vinny’s wife will stay behind and work her 2 jobs so that she can pay their house payment, utilities, etc so he has a home to return to,
If you can please help in any way (no gift is too small) to make his journey through this second round of Chemo a little less worrisome. If you are not able to help with a donation, that is ok, prayers are much needed and always welcomed. Your prayers and support are so appreciated. Thank you very much.
May God Bless you all and keep you and your families safe.
