My cousin, Mitch Azevedo, just lost his home to the fire that is currently sweeping Paradise, CA and the surrounding area. He barely made it out himself and had to drive through several "walls of fire" to escape.
Mitch is a father of two and works for the Paradise school system. Not only did his house burn down, but the school where he works has burned as well, so he is out of his job.
He had just finished a final round of chemo when this happened. So you can imagine how much more stressful his life is now. Between medical bills, finding a new job, and a new home.
We are trying to raise some money for Mitch so he can have at least his basics covered while trying to rebuild from this tragedy. Any amount you are willing to give will be very much appreciated.
*UPDATE*
We found out that Mitch's parents, my Aunt Sue and Uncle Ron, also lost their home in the fire as well. They have all completely lost everything. We are going to expand this campaign to include benefiting them as well.
