My cousin, who is just 26 years old and a non-smoker, is in the ICU in the Philippines, fighting for his life due to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). He has been in the hospital for just two weeks, and his medical bills have already exceeded one million pesos. His immediate family cannot afford the costs, and I, as his cousin, have already contributed as much as I can.
