Hi Everyone,
It's truly wonderful to be connected! My name is Christina, and I'm a Canadian health policy and program administrator who has spent the last 1.5 years living in Costa Rica.
I've had the privilege of being connected with the Campos Family - specifically Yamileth & Alejandro - who unfortunately are on the brink of losing the few assets they have (car and home) because of very unfortunate (and silly) Costa Rican health care policies:
Alejandro has recently been hospitalized due to bleeding ulcers, racking up a wildly prohibitive hospital bill. And though his mother, Yamileth, has been resilient with navigating her Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis for many years now - she has recently been struggling with acute episodes of exacerbated symptoms, requiring many expensive doctor visits.
Because there is NO social safety net available for the middle class in Costa Rica, they are at risk of having their family gravely impacted by being unable to pay for these (ridiculously high) hospital bills from the year. I personally cannot sit back and watch this happen. I also know that "many hands make light work!" ️
As we approach the Christmas Season, I pray to God/Great Spirit that we can come together and support them with a Miracle - to raise enough funds to completely clear out all of their financial burdens and stresses from 2024 - leaving them Free and Clear to re-build newly, in 2025.
Alejandro and Yamileth are both small business owners living near San Jose CR, with truly impeccable work ethic, strength of spirit and resilience - and I know that receiving a Gift like this would make THE world of difference for them, their family, their children and their Future possibilities.
Please join me in this Prayer - please Donate what you feel you can, that's aligned with your Heart. And please pass this along to anyone else in your circles or networks that could support us in this. It would mean the World!
With all of my love and gratitude,
