My Colon Cancer Journey

Hi everyone, I've created a gofund me for my uncle Arturo Hernandez who is currently suffering from Colon Cancer. He was first diagnosed  on September of 2017 and has been on Chemo for the past 4 years. On and off of chemo, he has been through radiation many times and has suffered immensely with his diet and his physical health. Throughout the time he was in many surgeries for different reasons, one being the placement of his Cholostomy bag and the removal of his tumor that was found in his colon.  After several surgeries and many conversations with his medical team we felt optimistic that his cancer would eventually leave. Later that year, we were told by his physicians that a successful surgery had removed the cancerous tumor he had and he was to Live with a colostomy bag for the rest of his life.  Unfortunately two years later we were informed that the cancer had returned and had spread to his rectum causing his anal canal to be closed off completely leaving him with a colostomy bag as his only form of eliminating waste from his body. Later again he was told by his doctor that there was a cancerous mass in his urethra blocking him from emptying his bladder which lead to him having a catheter placed for him. He is currently in Stage 4 Cancer and we are hopeless, he progressively gets worse and something new continuously reappears that affects his well being.
Ever since being diagnosed with this horrific illness, he has been struggling financially to support Himself and pay for his basic bills. Donating to my uncle's gofundme will allow him to live as comfortably as he can despite everything he has been through with this cancer. All funds will be used to cover his medications and medical needs to take care of his colostomy bag and catheter. Every help given is sincerely truly appreciated
