Hi my name is Jennelle and I am fundraising to help my good friend Chris pay for his 12 month cancer treatment that is not covered by the Ontario government. His treatment is approximately $15,000 per month and he requires 12 months. If Chris lived in a western province his treatment would be covered. His file is still under review for our health insurance through work, but at best this would cover 80%. Chris is my co-worker, a great friend, a son who cares for his elderly parents, a father and sole income provider to two girls and a husband to a loving wife. Chris is battling stage 3b melanoma, he has a chance to survive to see his kids grow up. He shouldn’t be worrying about covering the cost of his treatment and providing for his family.
