My Climb for Change: End Mental Health Stigma

Tax deductible
On May 18, 2019 I am embarking on the biggest and coolest adventure of my life. I will be climbing Mt. Rainier in Seattle, Washington.

When I first set out on my quest, I wanted to have a purpose other than reaching the top (which is a task within itself). I decided that I wanted to share my journey with others and raise money and AWARENESS for those suffering from Mental Health issues.

Mental Health education and awareness is near and dear to my heart. Not nearly enough is done for those who suffer from an illness that we often can’t see or understand. It is why I decided to join the Board of Directors for NAMI Broward which happens to be the organization I am raising money for.

NAMI stands for the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization whose mission is to advocate for effective prevention, diagnosis, treatment, support, research and recovery that improves the quality of life of persons of all ages who are affected by mental illnesses.

NAMI does AMAZING work but we also need your help…

That is why I am asking everyone to donate $15 and help #EndTheSTIGMA.

The reason I chose $15 is because Mt. Rainier is approximately 15,000 feet. Therefore, I am asking everyone to donate $1 for every 1000 feet I climb. However, if you would like to donate more, I won’t stop you!!!

Together, lets raise some money for NAMI Broward and finally END THE STIGMA surrounding Mental Health!!!!!
