My Chat with Harold Pinter by Miriam Higgins

Hello, I'm Miriam, the writer of the play My Chat with Harold Pinter and we are looking for funding towards our tour this summer. We are off to the Birmingham Fest, Salford for the Greater Manchester Fringe, and Camden in London.
The play is about having a neurodivergent brain and the highs and lows that come with that. We're showing the audience what it's like as we can't all think in the same way... Harold Pinter is there along for the ride too, not so much his own choice though.
The play is also about trying to write and looking to others for help, how we tell stories to each other and what we would only say to our imaginary friend.
We had a fantastic response to the first performances including from fellow neurodivergent audience members who commented on how realistic it was and how the neurodivergence was taken seriously.
The funds raised will help us travel about the country, rehearsal room fees, insurance, venue hire fees, additional technician fees, and overheads. Not exciting to be sure but will make it the world of different to us and the play.
