My Cat's Surgery Costs
My cat, Yuuki, started throwing up his food last week. Mostly undigested food.
Thought maybe at first it was just anxious eating while I was away at work and
such.
Started limiting his food intake. Seemed to be fine. Eating normal, acting and
playing normal. But then I came home from work and all his food was thrown up
on the floor. The next morning I woke to him vomiting again. Except this time he
was lethargic. He wasn't himself. So I took him to the emergency vet clinic. They
ran blood work tests and did x-rays. Didn't find anything out of the ordinary. So I
took him home again. He seemed a little better at first, but still wasn't drinking
any water or eating. It got later and he wasn't responding to me at all when he
was napping. So I took him back in that night. We decided we needed to do an
ultrasound, which found a foreign object in his small intestine. Now he needs
surgery. We plan on keeping him there overnight, and then in the morning I am
going to bring him to another clinic to get the surgery done at. The emergency
clinic's in house surgery was a much higher costs.
The first days stay at the clinic was $598. My mom sent me money to pay that.
The second days stay will be around another $600 when I go in tomorrow.
His surgery at the next clinic will be around $300-$400.
He's staying at the clinic overnight as of time of writing this. So don't know exact
costs. Would give back if possible any funds not needed.
Thank you so much for your time.
