Hello, I'm making this gofundme as I'm in dire need of help

My cat Ace (seen in photo) is in a dire need of a vet visit, he's stable atm but his weight is dropping fast and this tumor on his back is a big concern. I have had this cat since he was 2 weeks old, now 7, this cat is one of the very few reasons I'm still around to this day.

Vets are expensive, and I have sadly fallen on hard times but this cat is my life, we don't know if it's cancer, diabetes, or an abscess, but he is in need of dire help

Cost breakdown

$1600 for the surgery

$1300 to pay back a friend for the first attempt but Ace was too anemic for the surgery(He isn't anymore as we figured out that he wasn't eating due to a cone)

$500 for any other medical expenses that may come up
