My car got totaled. Seeking help to get another car.

Hi, I'm Suzanne.

A good, wise man suggested I create this to help my situation. I hate to do this, but I must; I have no other options.

The picture is the car that I had for the past 5 years.

2019 Mitsubishi Outlander, with a 3rd row seat.

Recently, it got totaled in a minor car accident. (Everyone is fine)

The car had 264,000 miles on it, so the car's value was low, and of course, the cost of repair is high, so it got totaled.

I am not in a financial position to get another car.

Cars are still hard to find, overpriced, and people are asking for large down payment. The insurance company provided a rental car but that time is up and as of today, I have no car.

No car = no work = no income.

I had been struggling for quite a while and now everything is at risk.

If rent is not paid by April 29th, 2024, I will be evicted.

There is no wiggle room on that.

Here is a list of amounts and it helps:

$1,400 - one month rent; will buy me time so I am not evicted.

$2,800 - 2 months rent

$6,400 0 one month rent + $5000 down on a car. I was told by a car sales place I could be financed if I gave $5000 down payment. I am not able to do that.

More money means a bigger down payment and a lower monthly payment.

$10,000 - $13,000 - that could buy a used car paid in full, but probably not a car with a 3rd seat like the one I had. More donations would help to get a car that is more like the one I lost. I don't want to appear like I'm asking for a new, top end vehicle. The difference between a regular car and a car with a 3rd row has an impact on my earnings. When I lost that car, I lost my earnings potential. But any decent used car would help and I would be grateful.

If I can get through this crisis, I can move forward with success.

I ask that you trust that I've look at every option before doing this. This isn't easy for me to do.

I know there are good people out there who want to help other good people. I hope this plea finds them.
