True's Last Battle

Sadly this is no longer a fund for True's health, for he has passed away. This is now a fund for the wife and two beautiful children that he left behind in this hectic world. Betsy, Theseus, and Orion all need as much support as they can get from whomever they can get it from. They are all very strong and beautiful people and they are loved very much just as True was loved by many.

On the night of the 2nd, my sister-in-law found my big brother, True Pike, collapsed on the floor after a total loss of sensation in his legs. Due to pain and worry that he had broken a bone they took him to MUSC's Emergency Room. There, due to rapid weight loss and conern over his decreased oxygen levels they decided to do CT scans that showed emphysema, pneumonia, and multiple possible tumors. In addition they found he has a severly collapsed vertebrea in his back. Our mother and sister have joined him down in Charlston to offer support however they can, mostly assisting his wife Betsy to care for their two boys, Theseus(age 3) and Orion(age 10). They have no health insurance and limitted funds, therefore any help is vastly appreciated. True is able to communicate and in amazingly strong spirits.
