Brothers, Forever Bound in Love in Life and Death.

Words cannot express the immense void left by the passing of my beloved brothers, Yaw Gyimah aka Captain Fred Amo-Twum and Kwadwo Gyimah aka Evangelist Ababio-Ankoanah. These two were more than just siblings; they were my confidantes, my partners in crime, my anchors in life's storms. To say I miss them is an understatement - they were the sun in my sky, the laughter in my heart.
Yaw the elder, was a positive soul, radiating positive energy wherever he went. He had a contagious effect that drew people in and made them feel instantly at ease. Even though he was a military officer, he had a heart of gold. As a military man, he made some impact to the world. He served brilliantly on many Peace-Keeping missions abroad. The world was made more peaceful because of his contributions. As CEO of Golden Falcon, he gave sustenance to many people. His employees saw him as a benign and affable leader who was willing to help even the custodian at headquarters at Circle. He will always be remembered as a strong but benevolent leader. Yaw was also a church worker. His last church position as the men’s leader for the Tema Baptist assembly.

Kwadwo the younger, was the more subdued personality. A teacher by profession, he loved children and was a mentor to the many hundreds of children that passed through his hands. Evangelist Kwadwo was also a man of God. He was a local preacher of the Asokore Methodist church. He was also the Chairman of Diocesan men's fellowship, Diocesan lay evangelist coordinator, Connexional evangelist Secretary, and CPC chairman of the Child Development Centre.
Though different personalities, they shared a beautiful bond. They were always there for each other, and for me. From childhood we navigated life's journey together, laughing, crying, and always having each other's backs.
Their unexpected passing has left a gaping hole in our lives. The pain is raw, the grief immeasurable. However, their memories fuel our hope, their laughter echoes in our hearts.

To honor their lives and celebrate their impact, we are hoping to raise funds for their final farewell. The cost of the funeral is significant, and any contribution, big or small, would be deeply appreciated. It would allow us to give them the send-off they deserve, a reflection of the lives they lived, filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of community.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Every contribution, every message of support, is a testament to the lives they led and the love they shared. In helping us honor their memory, you become part of their story, forever woven into the tapestry of their lives.

The Target of this Fund raiser is $9,000. The sudden passing of our beloved brothers, Yaw and Kwadwo, has plunged our family into a deep and unexpected grief. As we navigate this heartbreaking loss, we face the immense challenge of honoring their lives with dignified farewells separated by oceans and miles.
Flying from Mississippi to Ghana on short notice presents a significant financial hurdle. Organizing and managing even one funeral across such vast distances would be a weighty task; the responsibility of two simultaneous services feels almost insurmountable.
Yaw, who spent his vibrant years in Tema, Greater Accra, deserves a memorial service that reflects the community he cherished. Similarly, Kwadwo, whose life and career were deeply rooted in Asokore, Ashanti, must be remembered in the place he called home.
To honor their individual journeys and the bonds they formed, separate memorial services will be held in both locations, each a testament to the unique lives they led. Yet, for Yaw, the journey doesn't end there. He will embark on a final five-hour pilgrimage, carried by a chartered ambulance, to rejoin his mother in their shared resting place. This sacred journey, filled with both love and sorrow, represents the culmination of our challenge.
The humble financial goal of $9,000 will also help in financing a little part of the upbringing and education of the little ones. Between the two, there are four very young kids that must be catered for. It is certainly not the fault of the very young some in primary school that they lost their dad so early. What is foremost is that we recognize their predicament and make the loss less painful.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will alleviate the burden and allow us to focus on honoring the memory of our beloved brothers with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Though miles may separate us, our hearts remain united in grief and love. We invite you to join us in supporting this endeavor, not as a transaction, but as a shared expression of respect and remembrance for Yaw and Kwadwo.

Together, we can ensure their final chapter is one of peace, love, and community.
