My Brother would never ask for help, so I will...

My name is Ron Lintz and I am desperate to help my brother and his wife, Gerry and Liz (Betty) Lintz. Liz, 65 years old, has spent the last 41 days in the hospital, with 36 of those days in the ICU and 5 weeks on a ventilator. All this with my brother Gerry, 71 years old, never leaving her side; living, eating and sleeping in a recliner in her hospital room waiting for her to wake up. Liz has somehow survived kidney/liver failure. Liz has begun a painfully slow recovery process, literally from death's door. She has now been transferred to a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center to begin her recovery. She will need ongoing Kidney Dialysis (perhaps for life) and has to undergo speech, motor skills and a variety of other therapies to walk and hopefully resume a somewhat normal life. There is a long road ahead to recovery. I'm asking for help as there is a financial burden ahead for them that no one should have to face. FIVE DOCTORS, 41 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL (36 IN ICU), AND IT'S UNDETERMINED HOW LONG SHE WILL BE AT THE REHAB CENTER. Their share of these medical costs will be in the tens of thousands of dollars. As I said, my brother would never ask for help, but their Medicare Insurance will only cover so much and leave them with overwhelming medical bills. In addition, there is a high probability of needing to convert their house to being wheelchair accessible. Now their only income is their monthly Social Security and they have basic Medicare Medical Insurance. Any donations will be directed toward covering these unpaid medical costs. My brother, who is 71 years old, has expressed concerns over what the future may hold for them. I simply had to take action and hope that the Good Lord will help them through GoFundMe. Any donations will be so greatly appreciated. My brother has not left Liz's side' and now sleeps in a wheelchair next to her at the rehab center, which may be months.
