My Brother With Medullary Cancer
Donation protected
I have never done this before but I am asking on behalf of my 35 year old brother.
He was diagnosed with stage 3 Thyroid cancer when he was 19. Now 16 years later his cancer has returned. He now is a single father who has two wonderful daughters whom he adores and is very much involved with daily. In February it was discovered that he had new tumours. But with the timing of his medical appointments and being transferred from specialists to specialists and after MRI’s, CT Scans and biopsies, we were told at the end of July that he has 3 tumours that are inoperable and it has spread to his liver. He has to go for more tests to see if he is able to take the chemotherapeutic drugs his doctors are recommending.
During this time he has tried to work. It is getting more and more difficult. Bills are piling up as are the needs for his daughters.
He is in constant pain and unable to work regularly and it is getting more difficult daily.
I am asking for help, not just for my baby brother, but for my nieces.
He is a caring wonderful father, brother and person. Any help would be truly appreciated. Thanking everyone in advance for taking the time to read our story and thank you for any help.
