It is with great sadness that I am reaching out to family and friends. My Brother Shane would never do this for himself therefore I am. Shane's wife was taken to a Ogden hospital By Life-flight yesterday. this is the statement my brother released to family and community.
Today, My Wife Julie had a seizure, (her first) due to carbon dioxide at a level 90 in her oxygen levels, as compared to 40 which we understand is normal. This led to a cardiac arrest and she ended up at the ER at LRH.
After some stabilization, she was life flighted down to Ogden Regional Hospital.
She has a long hard road ahead and At this point, the Dr.'s words are "She has severe brain damage, and exactly what it will look like in the end, we don't know for sure yet." But hopefully within the next 48 hours we will know. We are just asking for prayers and miracles for the outcome to be good and we are trusting in Gods hands to know what will be best for her and our family. - Shane Hunsaker
The last thing I want my Brother to have to worry about is fiances as he travels back and forth to the hospital and all the bills that will be coming his way.
I want for him to just focus on caring for his wife the best he can.
