Battle With Stage 4 Brain Cancer - Roger Rampersad
Donation protected
I created this page to raise support for my brother Roger Rampersad who was diagnosed two months ago with Stage 4 Brain Cancer!!
In April 2018 – while Roger was at work he started feeling dizzy and his vision was blurred. His wife (Jeanette) went and took him home and while at home he suffered a seizure. The ambulance came and took him to the hospital. He was diagnosed with a mini stroke at 47 years old.
Three months later – at the end of June following dizzy spells for two consecutive days he returned to the hospital. After numerous examinations, he was told he had bleeding in his brain in the same area as the stroke. It was thought to be caused by the daily aspirin he was prescribed.
In mid-October he started experiencing severe headaches accompanied by dizziness and nausea. At this third trip to the ER he was now told that the affected area in his bran was “growing”. It was never a mini stroke but rather a growing tumor in his brain that has been deemed inoperable – Stage 4 Brain Cancer.
He was given three to six months to live without treatment and 18 months with treatment. Currently he is on a 7-week combined regiment of “Chemo Pills” and “Radiation Treatments”.
This has been a trying year for Roger and Jeanette! Roger is one of the most selfless person I know and has never hesitated to help anyone in need. He can no longer work or drive so please help give back to him to assist with his medical bills. His treatments are aggressive and any small amount will help.
Please keep Roger and Jeanette in your prayers with this daily uphill battle!!
