My brother rebuilding life after McKinney Fire

My name is Karen, and I am writing on behalf of my brother Tom who, has lost his entire community on the Klamath River due to the McKinney Fire, which started on July 29th, 2022. My brother has made Klamath River his home for well over 45 years. He is a woodworker by trade and has helped build and maintain the community he loves on the Klamath. Tom is that person who has always helped everyone in need whenever they ask. From building and remodeling homes, fixing leaky faucets, maintaining the community hall, running errands for those who can not, and so much more. This time Tom can use some help moving forward as there is just so much devastation and loss for a person to do alone, so I am asking for any support you can give. Tom's home, which he built himself, somehow remained standing though it burnt on all sides right up to his front door, drastically compromising the structure of his home from the intense heat and fire. His current main issue is getting water. His pumps and water lines have all been melted, and he is without water. The fire department helped him begin placing a new pipeline that runs up a massive hill to a well. Unfortunately, the local bear, who also needs water, dug up the new line, and the process must begin again. His barn, filled with essential tools, burned to the ground. Though the fire is out, the oak trees on his property are now falling over, causing even more damage. The fire left behind devastating damage to the property. Life can look daunting with no water, electricity, or community left to help. This is why I am reaching out to anyone who can give a hand to Tom.
