My Brother Nolan S. Tinge's Hospital Bill

My brother Nolan, 62 years old, is a retired barangay treasurer of San Joaquin Norte, Agoo, La Union, Philippines. He has irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia). He goes for regular quarterly check-ups for blood works, specially checking on high blood pressure. His last check-up was 29 November 2024 because he had been complaining of a headache. The results of lab were all within bounds but failed to do a ct scan for the head. December 28, 2024 came and he had a stroke which affected the cerebellum. The cerebellum is responsible for muscle control, including balance and movement. He then had a secondary bleeding on December 30, 2024 which led to this coma state. On both occasions, he underwent craniotomy to remove the bleeding from his brain. He is intubated and with NGT for feeding. He is hooked to the ventilator which costs tons! 10 days in the ICU and it’s already PHP 916,588.18 ($22,556.24 CAD). It may take more days in the ICU until he is awake and strong enough to respond.

As of to this writing he is still in ICU at Lorma Medical Center, San Fernando, La Union, Philippines. He is being attended alternately by his lovely wife, Rowena Panay Tinge and his caring elder daughter, Vanessa Sigrid Tinge Mabanag. His lead neurosurgeon, Dr. Sixto R. Ordoño, has informed us that 2 or 3 weeks from now is not yet a guarantee for his full recovery from ICU. We are paying P50,000.00 ($1,230.45 CAD) to P70,000 00 ($1,722 CAD) per day for his ICU treatment. With much prayer I decided to create this Go Fund Me platform to share my brother's journey and humbly ask you for any monetary help you may extend us to help us pay his bloating hospital bill.
