Brother Suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury

My brother Steve, my best friend, suffered a traumatic brain injury on 27 Oct 2019. He required emergency brain surgery, followed by several days in the ICU, and now going on his 8th week in rehab.
He will need several more weeks, perhaps even months more rehab, and eventually in-home care.
He was a contractor, and may never be able to get back to work. He might never be able to drive again.
Steve was an affable giant of a man before getting injured. Well liked and respected, both in his personal life and his profession.
He has lost his income, has precious little savings, and will burn through that quickly.
