Help my brother with medical expenses

Hi, my name is Susie and I’m fundraising for my brother, Chris Gallagher. He asked me to start a GoFundMe for him to help with medical expenses. He was in a bad motorcycle accident which resulted in a lot of broken bones and more medical help than he has ever needed before. He spent 112 days in the hospital and now he is in a physical rehab facility trying to build up strength so he can walk again. During his hospital stay, he had a lot of complications (including his heart stopping twice) and was in a medically induced coma for 6 weeks. The doctors didn’t think he was going to wake up or ever be normal again. He proved them all wrong and is trying to get back to normal. He will need so much help to achieve this goal. Some of the things he will need financial help with include getting his house ready when he comes home, installing a ramp, making the bathroom more handicap accessible, medical bills, and home healthcare. He’s also about to turn 50 (which is a miracle since he was told by doctors he wouldn’t live past 30) so we need to celebrate him and make sure we are there for him when he needs it the most. No one deserves to be in a hospital bed for 4 months. He deserves it all. We thank you in advance for all of your help.

Update: He has now been in the hospital or rehabs or nursing homes for over 8 months. He ended up having a bed sore on his heel that had a horrible bacteria and they had to amputate his leg left above the knee. He was not strong enough to walk before this happened so he will need a lot more physical therapy, and now a prosthetic leg, to get to that point again. He still needs his house to be modified and a ramp built so any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
