My Brother John Bonomo

Hi, my name is Criss and my brother was in a terrible head on collision last Friday 1/19/2024. He has been in ICU for 4 days and will be moving to a regular room soon. He has multiple broken bones and will need some home help for a bout a month when he is released. Since John lives on disability our system does not help with covering the cost. He will also need some help to get a new to him vehicle. We do not expect a new vehicle but I am sure we can find a good used truck. He needs a truck since he does go to food banks and the scrap yard to help himself and others in need.

A little about my brother. John is a very kind, giving and generous man. He volunteers with his church St. Jude's Metropolitan Community Churches in Wilmington NC. He cooks at all their events to raise money for others in need. He also volunteers at pride festival and does a lot of baking for the events. John even ran the food bank at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Wrightsboro NC for 20+ years. He is such a caring man and never askes for himself!

He now needs our help, the help from his community. Please give what you can. God bless you all - we are grateful God had him in his hands through this accident!

Update on John:

After 5 days in the ICU they transferred John to a regular room for 1 day. They discharged him the next morning. This was way to soon. There is no Home help in place yet. We are busy calling to organize this for when I can not be there for him. He still can not do much for himself at this time. Please keep him in your prayers as we step through this time.
