First and foremost, thank you for coming to this page and whether its good vibes youre sending or any financial help, we thank you tremendously, no matter how big or small it may be, it is still extremely helpful.
My brother Mike had been on dialysis for 10 years, waiting for a kidney transplant. The operation itself is scary and high risk, but he had no choice, as time was running out and dialysis would no longer be an option, given he was already experiencing many complications from it.
Mike was born with a regular kidney and a small one. He became ill when he got sick with swine flu and that caused complications on his other kidney, it got overloaded with fluid and hypertension. Then he had to have dialysis, which lasted for 10 years.
I am making this GoFundMe after his operation, which he was so blessed to have. Now begins the long recovery process, and with that, means a long time without work and this is where your help comes in. We would like for Mike to get financial help while he recovers and is out of work. He will be using the money for rent, food, and most importantly, the many medications he has to take on a daily basis and any copay that may accompany that. The first 6 months are crucial and anything can happen, we just want to make sure he can have a cushion of some sort to fall back on until hes able to return to work and get back up on his feet.
